Don’t Joke with your Social Media Profile

Don't Joke with your Social Media Profile

Here’s a quick scenario to explain the power of your social media profile;
I’ve got a major deal for a good cake baker. I go online and post a request. Two bakers send me a DM. Typically, I’ll check their profile. I check the first person’s Facebook profile and all I can see is “Chioma tagged you and 85 others” and Chioma is either swimming or dancing Shoki. I keep seeing irrelevant tags and posts that are totally unrelated to the person’s business. I check the second person’s wall and see different pictures of cakes and cookies and interesting posts regarding baking. Who do you think I’ll take serious???

A lot of us keep spending money on sponsored ads for our business, while losing good money that is within our reach. You claim to have adequate knowledge in a particular field, but your profile has little or nothing to show for it.

Now hear this; you’ve got over Five hundred Friends on Facebook alone. What exactly are you doing with them? Why don’t you constantly remind them of your business through interactive posts? Yes, at first the response might be low, with few likes and comments. Consistency is key. You never know, your next big client might be on your friends list.

Also, turn on review for tags on your timeline . That way, you can analyze them before approval.

DON’T ALLOW YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILE TURN TO A DUMP SITE FOR IRRELEVANT POSTS; BE PROFESSIONAL.
